Based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, our office, located in the historic district of Miramar, offers professional services in architecture, interior architecture, space planning, project management, project supervision and historic property survey. Throughout the past thirty years, our firm has gained an extensive experience in architectural design of custom made housing, multifamily housing projects and institutional buildings. Our firm has great expertise in renovation and interior design of residential projects, as well as in space planning and interior architecture for institutional and commercials firms, and in the development and production of programming data used in master plans for space planning and historic property survey.

At Taller de Arquitectura Margarita Fullana, our priority is to fusion Nature with Architecture. For the principal of the firm, Arch.Margarita Fullana, it is essential that Nature acquires a leading role in Architecture. Nature, the integration with the exterior spaces, total openness,water, and the balanced use of light and shade, are some of the components thatare fundamentals in our designs. We are passionate with architectural elements like skylights, wide overhangs, brise-soleils, the use of water ponds, reflecting pools and interior gardens, and materials like concrete, glass, stone, wood and aluminum. All these elements are incorporated to the extent that it is possible in ours designs. Living in a tropical island, where vegetation is exuberant and the sun is intense during much of the year,our architecture harmonizes perfectly with the peculiarities of climate resulting in the maximum enjoyment of our natural environment. By unifying all these elements with a tropical and simplistic design approach, we create what could be considered a Tropical Modern Architecture.

But as important is Nature in our Architecture, more important is our Client. In the residential designs, where our work has been most recognized, and where our passion for design flourishes, we take into consideration the particular needs of the client and adapt and incorporate them into our design philosophy. So important is the integration to the residence of privacy and comfort of home by what we define the vision of home as a place to live in privacy. When designing a residence, we combine the different components of the tropical design that characterizes us with the everyday life of the client for more create the architecture of your home, create a tropical lifestyle, in their new home, in harmony with nature and privacy with your loved.
